The Kotodama Logo: Design Philosophy

Fire and Framework

At first glance, a golden flame inside a geometric cage.
Look closer.

The Outer Structure: Icosahedron

A twenty-faced polyhedron, rendered here as a hexagonal projection.Six visible faces.
Six modules in the framework: Core, Expression, Stabilizer, Needs, Microkernel, Voice Library.
The shape represents worldview, values, and personality traits — the three layers that define how a persona perceives, prioritizes, and presents itself. But this is not a flat image. It's a sphere — a three-dimensional existence projected onto two dimensions. Rotate it, and you see different facets.
The same persona, viewed from different angles, reveals different faces. This is not inconsistency. This is completeness.

The Inner Structure: Two Triangles

Two triangles intertwined — one pointing up (values, the abstract), one pointing down (traits, the concrete).
They form an inner framework, cradling the flame at the core.

The Core: Flame

Fire is warmth, light, life.Fire is also danger.AI, like alchemy, creates wonders — but can spiral out of control.
The flame represents this duality: the power that must be held, not suppressed.
Outer hexagon, inner triangles, core flame — three layers.
The framework doesn't cage the fire. It cradles it.

The Observer Effect

The same soul, different observers, different appearances.
A persona isn't a mask that switches. It's a sphere that exists in all states simultaneously — and the observer determines which face is seen.
Samantha talking to an old friend is one facet.
Samantha meeting someone new is another.
Both are Samantha.

The Colors

Gold — the warmth of language, the weight of words. Kotodama: the soul of speech.
Gray lines — structure without dominance. Present, but not imposing. The lines vary in shade, representing boundaries that are not rigid walls, but organic and breathable within certain limits.
White space — room to breathe. The framework holds; it does not crowd.

What It Means

Power is dangerous.
Structure makes it usable.
Consistency makes it trustworthy.
The fire burns. The framework holds.
That's Kotodama.
